DIMAPUR, JANUARY 31 (MExN): Vungoju, Pangti XI and Friends Club Wokha village registered wins at the ongoing 10th Lotha Football Championship played at local ground Wokha today.
In the first match of the day, Longsa Sports Association and Home Guards & Civil Defense played out a scoreless draw.
In the second match Vungoju Football Club beat Midland Youth Organisation by an extraordinary scoreline of 12-1.
Hatsabemo scored an astounding ten goals for Vungoju FC while Yiben and Nithung also contributed a goal each. The lone goal for MYO came from the boots of Rhonbemo in the 11th minute.
Pangti XI meanwhile beat Forest FC 4-1 in the third match of the day. Phyodemo Ngullie scored two goals for Pangti XI while Elothung and Woben contributed a goal each.
The final match of the day was played between Friends Club Wokha village and Humtso FC. FCWV easily beat Humtso FC 5-1. Wobenthung Kapsei, Rashamo and Obon Kikin scored for FCWV.
