DIMAPUR, JULY 29 (MExN): Liangmai Naga Council, Manipur (LNC-M) and Liangmai Council, Nagaland (LC-N) have formed an “apex social organisation for Liangmai tribe encompassing every Liangmai irrespective of state, regional or administrative boundaries.” The apex organisation has been christened as Liangmai Naga Ruangdi (LNR). This development took place in a meeting organised by the LNC(M) and LC(N) at Samjiuram, Nagaland on July 27 during a “Liangmai people meeting”. According to the chairman and the recording secretary of the “Liangmai people meeting”, Kingudi Joseph is the new President of LNR, both the Presidents of LNC(M) and LC(N) are also the Vice Presidents of the LNR (by virtue of their posts), NK Job is its General Secretary and Zanthui Nbung is Joint Secretary. Kaikhamang Daimai, Paoda Nchang and Dr Namthiurai Daimai are the advisors of the LNR. Witoubou Newmai, N Wiza and Penam are the members of LNR Constitution Drafting Committee.
