Dimapur, September 26 (MExN): Lions Club International has invited schools to participate in the 31st Annual Peace-Poster Drawing Contest on the theme “Kindness Matters”.
Lions Club of Dimapur and Dimapur Blue Vanda is jointly organizing the contest on October 2 at Lions Club of Dimapur, Chairman Lions Peace-Poster Contest Lion Sandeep Rara informed in a press release. The contest which is open to children 11 to 13 years across the world, has also informed that three students from each school can participate in the competition.
Three Best paintings will be awarded with cash prize and winner certificates. The winning entries will be sent to the Lions District Governor 322-D. The District will select the best painting for Lions Multiple District and which will be forwarded to the Lions International for final selection.
The International Grand Prize Winner will receive a trip to a special Award Ceremony with one family member and the Sponsoring Lions club member and also cash award of US $5000, besides a plaque. Each of the 23 Merit Award Winners from the Multiple Districts will receive a cash award of US $500 and a Certificate of Achievement.
