Vanguard FC Old Boys registered a commanding 6–1 victory over Eagle FC in the ongoing Lirunas presents 10th Morning Premier League (MPL) 2025 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, on Wednesday.
Anguzo scored a brace for Vanguard FC, while Hethanglo, Mar, Benjamin, and Tapitu added a goal each. Eagle FC managed a single goal through Jonji.
In an earlier match played on Tuesday, Kohima Police defeated Merhulietsa FC 4–2. Kevisazo opened the scoring in the 61st minute, followed by a brace from Menja in the 65th and 67th minutes. Atoska sealed the win with a goal in the 71st minute.
