Kohima, September 8 (DIPR): The Department of Health & Family Welfare has notified the list of hospitals for availing Dr. Ambedkar Medical Aid Scheme. The scheme is for patients suffering from serious ailments requiring surgery of kidney, heart, liver, cancer and brain or any other life threatening diseases including organ transplant and spinal surgery, for persons belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe whose annual income is less than Rs.250000/- per annum.
The hospitals are: Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK); IMDH Mokokchung; District Hospital Tuensang; District Hospital Wokha; District Hospital Phek; District Hospital Zunheboto; District Hospital Mon; District Hospital Peren; District Hospital Kiphire; District Hospital Longleng; District Hospital Dimapur; Christian Institute of Health & Science Research(CIHSR), Dimapur.
