Literacy awareness camp held in Niuland Town

Niuland, September 8 (MExN): A Literacy Awareness Camp was conducted at Government Middle School, Niuland Town, aimed at equipping local residents with essential literacy skills. 

The event was organized by the Department of Education, Tetso College, in collaboration with the School Management Committee of GMS Niuland, under the theme "Learn Today for a Better Tomorrow."

The camp, which attracted around 70 participants from the community, focused on key activities such as learning to write names, signature practice, basic arithmetic, and communication skills development. It began at 10:00 AM and was met with enthusiasm from both attendees and organizers alike.

Speaking at the event, the organizers emphasized that the initiative was part of a broader effort to enhance literacy levels in the area, with a view to improving both personal and societal progress.
