Phek, August 16 (MExN): The Kalos2017 Cognizance 2nd Edition, Inter High School Literary Competition under SDEO Pfutsero Sub-Division was held on August 12 at Baptist School, Pfutsero. The competition was exclusively for class 9 and 10 basing on their syllabus. Altogether eight schools with 36 students participated in the competition which included were quiz, spelling bee, extempore and essay.
The following students were adjudged winners: Quiz- 1st Position KeweloTsido and Vesu Vero, Nazareth School; Best Quizzer-Phruphrulu Rhakho CMHSS and KeweloTsido Nazareth School; Spelling Bee- 1st Position Lhiti Mero CMHSS; Extempore- 1st Position George Mero Nazareth school; Essay- 1st Position Keneilenuo Zuyie Baptsit School.
Along with literary competition, All India Letter Writing Competition on the theme, ‘Dear Papu (Mahatma Gandhi) you inspire me’ initiated by the Postal Department Pfutsero in collaboration with Kalos Society was conducted. Total of 12 students from different schools participated in this competition.
