MON, JUNE 8 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS, notified that in view of the impending arrival of the stranded persons from different parts of the country, a total lockdown has been enforced on June 9 in Tizit Sub-Division. Movement of public is strictly prohibited except on medical emergencies; all shops except Pharmacies will remain closed; and movement of private vehicles is strictly prohibited. The DC however informed that all Central/State Government offices are exempted from the purview of this order.
