Dimapur, August 24 (MExN): The Longleng Police has seized brown sugar worth six lakh rupees from a Dimapur bound passenger vehicle on August 22 and arrested one person in this connection.
According to a delayed report by the All India Radio Kohima, the seizure was made when Special Task Force under Longleng police Station was conducting a surprise Mobile Vehicle Check Post at Orangkong Junction. The contraband was reportedly found concealed in six packets.
A case was registered at Longleng Police Station and further investigation is on, the report added.
