Mokokchung Town Longsa Union in association with the District Hospital Mokokchung organised a blood donation camp at Blood Bank, IMDH Mokokchung on May 22.
Mokokchung, May 22 (MExN): Mokokchung Town Longsa Union in association with the District Hospital Mokokchung organised a blood donation camp at Blood Bank, IMDH Mokokchung on May 22.
A report from Chief Medical Office, Mokokchung stated that the camp was headed by Dr Tsupongchem Sangtam, Medical Officer, Blood Bank and his team of technicians from IMDH and supported by DAPCU Mokokchung.
All together 23 people donated blood during the camp which was initiated by the Union to accelerate voluntary blood donation which will be extremely helpful to the needy patients in the Hospital.
Apart from the donation they also donated a washing machine to COVID-19 hospital and a sum of Rs. 50,000 to District Task Force Mokokchung.
The programme started with invocation by Mokokchung Town Longsa Union, President, Imti Pongen.
