Tuensang, September 15 (MExN): The 25th edition of Loyem Memorial Senior Soccer Open Championship will commence from October 7 at the Loyem Memorial Ground (District Sport Complex) Tuensang. Organized by the Confederation of Chang Students’ Union with the theme “Exposing the values of game”, a total of Rs. 5,00,000 has been set aside as cash prize. The winner will be awarded Rs. 2.5 Lakhs along with trophy and certificates while the runner-up will be awarded Rs. 1.5 Lakhs along with trophy and certificates. The two losing semi-finalists will each be awarded Rs. 25,000. Individual awards will also be given in three categories viz, Golden Ball, Golden Boot and Golden Glove, with the winners pocketing Rs. 15,000 each. An award of Rs 5000 will be given to a promising team. The registration form will be available from September 16 and the last date for submission will be September 30. Interested teams may collect the registration forms from Page Maker Shop, On-Rush Cave and Olympic dealers in Tuensang town and submit it to the Office of the Confederation of Chang Students’ Union between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. In this regard, the Confederation invites all winners in the past 24 years and the interested teams to participate in celebration of the 25th year of its existence.
