KOHIMA, NOV 9 (DIPR): In supersession of all government office memorandums regarding maintenance of roster for Backward Tribes in the state by the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department (Reservation Cell) the Governor of Nagaland has assented to delegate the maintenance of Reservation Roster of Backward Tribes in the state to Nagaland Public Service Commission.
In an office memorandum, Chief Secretary, Lalhuma said this is being done to avoid duplication and anomalies which have arisen in some cases.
All departments are informed that clearance of the Personal and Administrative Reforms Department need not be taken henceforth when requisitions are sent to the Nagaland Public Service Commission for advertisement of posts.
