The objective of Makers' Market is to create a platform for small and local businesses to come together and collaborate to create an enhanced customer experience. This is the 3'rd event under the Makers' Market banner and will showcase approximately 35 local producers and service providers. The first Makers' Market held last year saw a footfall of approximately 4000. It will be held for two days i.e. September 30 and October 1, 2017 at Aiko Greens, Purana Bazar, Dimapur. The Makers' Market Team stated that they wanted to offer a two day carnival experience to the public during this Puja break, where a whole weekend’s entertainment is planned out. The event will showcase the best of local bakers, clothing, crafts, food and activities for kids including bouncy castles, zorbing, jukebox and ATV rides. MAKERS MARKET is an idea about value creation and sustainability. It’s a platform that brings together businesses that can learn from one another or from best practices, with the ultimate goal of creating or adding more to the value proposition for customers. It’s also about trying to build sustainable local businesses that are very much the foundation of any thriving community. Makers' Market is a strong advocate of promoting local products and services. It’s an idea about family and community. It’s about industry and commerce. About better learning, better design, better marketing, and value driven businesses. About thinking Global and acting Local. About making mistakes and evolving. About having a support system, an Eco system. So come and join us this Makers' Market on September 30 and October 1 at Aiko Greens, Purana Bazar, Dimapur, and become of part of this idea.
