Mangkolemba SDPDB discusses educational concerns

Mangkolemba, June 6 (DIPR): The monthly Sub Division Planning Development Board meeting Mangkolemba was held on June 6 at ADC Office under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman, SDPDB, ADC, Imtiwapang Aier.  

Welcoming the members, the chairman thanked all the officers for their active participation on the recently conducted mass social work and tree plantation. He highlighted the last meeting minutes to the house.  

Discussing on the various agendas on the shortage of teachers and opening of schools submitted by different villages, the Board has approved to put forward to the higher authority for necessary action, regarding the applications submitted for requirement of Hindi teachers in GMS/GPS under Sub-Education Officer Mangkolemba, opening of GPS at newly recognised Vikuto village and assistance for renovation of primary section of GMS Chungtiayimsen school building and construction of boundary walls around the school building.

The Board also approved to forward to the Government for opening a new police out post at Merangmen, which is under EAC HQ. During the meeting ADC had informed all the Head of Offices to submit a brief writeup on their concern department in the next SDPDB meeting for documentation of "Mangkolemba Vision 2041" which will be released in the month of December 2016 during the 25 years celebration of Mangkolemba ADC Headquarter establishment. He further informed the Board members on the schemes taken up under 29A/C Janpetkong and 30A/C Alongtaki.  

Later, Border Magistrate, Tsurangkong presented the report on the tour programme conducted by SDPDB members at Mangkolemba sadar & Merangmen Circle with the theme "Government at your doorsteps". The next Monthly meeting will be held on 5th of July 2016.
