Manipur: Class X MIL question paper leaked

After an incident of question paper ‘leak scam’, student bodies on Thursday has again alleged that question paper of Class-X exam for MIL (Modern Indian Language) subject has been leaked.

 

The paper was found to be circulating on social media, leaders of Democratic Students Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) and Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Sinpanglup (AIMS) alleged.

 

Addressing a press conference at DESAM office in Imphal, leaders of the two student bodies demanded an enquiry into the alleged question paper leakage to award befitting punishment to those involved in the case.

 

DESAM, general secretary, L Lamyanba Meitei said that they have evidences that the question paper of today’s Class-X exam (MIL) has been leaked and the same went viral on social media ahead of the commencement of the exam. He demanded that befitting punishment must be awarded to those who involved in the alleged scam after an enquiry while expressing suspicion of some officials and teachers on exam duties involving in the case. He demanded the government to enact a stringent law to deal with the culprit(s) involved in question leakage issue.

 

Regarding the matter, the two student bodies have submitted a memorandum to the chief minister drawing his attention towards early enactment of the law they demanded, the student bodies informed.

 

The allegation of question paper leakage of the Class-X exam occurred after the recent scam of leaking of question papers for five subjects of the Class-XI exam conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM).
