MCK organizes inter-departmental quiz competition

Kohima, September 3 (MExN): The department of Political Science, Modern College, Kohima (MCK) organized an inter-departmental quiz competition on August 31 at its School premises.

A press release issued by Dr H P Singh, Principal MCK informed that the winners of the competition were the BA (general) students while the Political Science department emerged as the runner-up.

The competition was held in various rounds straight round; passing round; buzzer round; audio round; visual round and jigsaw round from across subjects of politics, sports, current affairs, entertainment, economy and general knowledge. The programme was chaired by Kawe-u Kreo and the quiz masters were Shahilo Khing, S. Anthony and John Besii while the time keeper was Khrunuto Kezo. A special number was also presented by Arenchenla Walling of B.A. 3rd Semester. “The objective of the competition was to develop the spirit of competition among students and awareness of the latest happenings so that fresh graduates may one day be able to face competitions with ease and job ready,” the release stated.
