MDBA conducts badminton clinic

DIMAPUR, JULY 5 (MExN): The Mokokchung District Badminton Association (MDBA) completed a 21 days Summer Badminton Coaching Camp for Under-17 years and Umpires Clinic on July 5 at the Multipurpose Sports Hall, Mokokchung.  

The camp was attended by 22 girls and 43 boys, and conducted under the supervision of Bendangnuchet, a National veteran player and assisted by senior players including Tiatula, Tiayanger, Alemjungshi and Imnasunep.  

An umpire clinic was also conducted on July 4 and 5 with 10 participants from affiliated clubs of villages and towns within Mokokchung district under the ambit of the MDBA. The clinic was conducted by Temsuyanger, a National Grade II Umpire. Both the programs were sponsored of the NEIDA, which is an initiative of the Tata Trust.
