ZUNHEBOTO, SEPTEMBER 1 (MExN): The Zunheboto District Legal Services Authority (ZDLSA), in collaboration with Hezukhu Memorial District Hospital, will organise a medical camp for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) on September 11 at Town Hall, Zunheboto, from 10 a.m.
The camp will facilitate screening and identification of persons with disabilities, medical assessment by qualified professionals and issuance of disability certificates to eligible persons. The organisers said information and guidance on the rights, entitlements and welfare schemes available to PwDs will also be provided. Legal awareness and assistance in accessing free legal services and government benefits will form part of the camp.
Persons requiring further medical or legal assistance will be guided and facilitated accordingly. PwDs, along with their family members or caregivers, have been requested to attend the camp and avail the services. Participants have been asked to bring their Aadhaar Card, two passport-size photographs and an Aadhaar-linked mobile/contact number.
