Medziphema, September 25 (MExN): The Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Medziphema, and King David Higher Secondary School (KDHSS) both clinched victories in their matches today, advancing to the semi-finals of the ongoing Inter-School Football Tournament in Medziphema.
In a commanding performance, GHSS defeated Modern Christian School 7-0, securing their place in the last four. The KDHSS followed suit, overcoming Chakhroma Baptist Mission School 3-1.
With this, the line-up for the semi-finals in the higher secondary section is now confirmed, featuring St Francis De Sales Higher Secondary School (SFSHSS) Sec- A and Sec- B as the other two contenders.
The semi-finals matches are scheduled to take place on September 26.
The 8th edition of the Inter-School Football Tournament is being organised by the Medziphema Town Students’ Union under the theme “Unity Makes Victory” at the Local Ground, Medziphema.
A total of 10 teams are competing for the trophy in two categories: High School and Higher Secondary.
