Yes:
• Absolutely, Naga are hard working with manual labour where machineries are less substitute of human labour.
• These days Nagas are getting into every type of fieldwork or professional to make their career... So it is okay to say that we are hardworking.
• Because mostly they depend from agricultural products.
• We the Nagas are generally hard working because during 80's and 90's there were no educated people only hand full of educated people. Parents at that time they never send elder son for study in most family, send second once, more over no educated for girls they are mainly to work at home. But now all elders son or second n girls are giving equal education.
• Yes it was. But not this generation. My friends doesn't even know to make tea so I can't say anything.
• Yes. By nature, Nagas are hardworking people. If we look at our ancestors, grandparents and parents, despite limited resources and knowledge, they were able to not only survive but have been successful in taking our society ahead to where we are today. Though they lived in isolation, difficult terrain, and so many other inconvenient factors, we have come a long way. From hard labouring in the fields to now most of the Nagas getting proper education becoming doctors, engineers, officers, professionals, etc, are all because of the hard work we have put together. Of course, the same is hard to be said about the present generation including me, or it is a question yet to be answered. However, in general, yes, Nagas are hard working people.
• Forefathers were, not this generation
• Yes but not the government
No:
• Except for Naga farmers, most Nagas have become fat off government jobs and corruption. They don't even work hard at government jobs, but they do work hard at corruption.
• Many Nagas don't give their best effort rather rely on easy living they just don't try.
• Nagas are talented but most of them are lazy and aspire to get rich overnight.
• No, because why would anyone want to debate in support of the other side, given that we can clearly see the condition that our state & people are in, completely dependent and at the mercy of the central govt. for total collapse.
• Nagas have started to work in private work and are not tied to their own foundation from basics needs to future needs Nagas are still lagging behind Presently Nagas are only after government jobs and private jobs and doesn't think about the survival as the foods and vegetables prices are high...Nagas should start from small right now even the kolis worked are done by other parts of Nagaland. Nagaland will become a fast food where instantly we Nagas will lose many inheritance
• Nagas are lazy, freebies, envy other achievements
• Hardworking yes but no consistency and patience
• Depends on the person
Others:
• We were ones hard working but time has change, and it seems everyone is looking for easy way to earn
• Nagas were generally hard workers, however, after the advancement of tech and modernity, the generations after 2000s tends to be physically lazy, emotionally exhausted and spiritually declined cause of comfort zone bubble and the constant changes new gens are growing up. Its bitter truth that Nagas want easy money, more rewards with less work but it’s a common phenomena, everyone wants that. In today’s modern time, hard work alone would make us donkey pulling carts (labour works), what we need is the balance between smart and hard work like improving skills along with degree which would come handy in the future. many of us would cry about unemployment, lack of opportunities and dominance of non-locals in business, but at the same time we don't want to take risk, start business and take up those labour works or unstable blue collar jobs, because of societal taboos and glamouring government service. Thus, I believe Nagas generally are hardworking but without proper guidance and right knowledge, we would still be donkeys pulling carts in the future too.
