Dimapur, January 21 (MExN): The Diphupar Area Kewhimia Krotho (DAKK) held its general meeting on January 20 at Diphupar Local Ground here with Khriehu Liezietsu, former Parliamentary Secretary as the chief guest.
Khriehu in his speech encouraged the gathering to come forward in unity and have more such gathering as it not only brings together the people, but also reminds “us” of “our” traditional roots. He also urged the gathering to visit and participate more in the Kohima Village events.
Akhrie Pewhhuo, president, Diphupar Kewhimia Krotho (DKK) said the invocation prayer, while Khriesavilie Sekhose, president, Chumukedima Kewhimia Krotho exhorted the gathering. Special numbers were presented by Viketouzo Khruomo, Lenuo Dzuvichu, Diphupar Kewhimia Youth, and the Diphupar Kewhimia Krotho.
A press release received here stated that the former team of Diphupar Area Kewhimai Krotho (DAKK) office bearers led by President K. Kezha Dzuvichu and General Secretary Mhasikhoto Phewhuo were re-elected to lead for another new tenure i.e. 2018-2021 with general consensus.
Altogether, 350 members attended the meeting.
