Dimapur, July 19 (MExN): A consultative meeting for church advocacy on HIV & AIDs was held on July 17 with Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) and Nagaland Development Outreach (NDO) for strengthening the ongoing church advocacy activities of Legislators’ Forum on AIDS (LFA) in partnership with NBCC-NDO and other faith based organisations.
During the meeting, it was decided that LFA and NBCC-NDO will work in partnership and develop strategies to mobilise the churches to generate community response and ownership with special focus on Vulnerable and High Prevalent District starting from Dimapur, Kohima, Kiphire, Noklak, Phek, and Peren etc.
A press note stated that the meeting ended with a decision to organise one day consultative workshop with Dimapur Pastors Fellowship and Dimapur Christian Forum.
