Naga Council Dimapur AGM The Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on April 30, 11:00 am at NCD conference hall, Nyamo Lotha Road, Dimapur. All the councilors have been requested to attend the meeting without fail. Constructive agendas from any bona fide councilors are welcome, the council stated in a press release. Friends of 80 plus foundation day The 13th foundation day of Friends of 80 plus, Kohima village will take place on April 30 at Kohima Village Council Hall at 11:00 am. Timikha Koza, president Tenyimia People’s Organization will grace the occasion as special guest. There will be a medical check-up for all 80 plus citizens by friends from Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima. Workshop on road safety awareness Regional Transport Office, Kohima is organizing workshop on road safety awareness as part of the ongoing 29th National Road Safety Week 2018 on April 30, 12:00 noon at Capital Convention Centre, Kohima. Kohima Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Soundararajan, who is also chairman of District Road Safety Committee, Kohima, will address the workshop. Philip Yanthan, Dy. SP (Traffic) Kohima and L Engo Konyak, MVI will also speak at the technical session. ANCSF convenes meeting An emergency meeting of All Nagaland Cooperative Societies Federation (ANCSF) office bearers and executive members will take place on May 5 at Red Cross Society conference hall, Kohima at 11:00 am. The meeting will deliberate on the ongoing project of ICDP for five districts of Nagaland. All the concerned office bearers of ANCSF and executive members have been requested to attend the same without fail. Orientation for legislators There will be an orientation programme for the Nagaland legislators in regard to the Parliamentary Practices and Information Technology on May 15 and 16 at Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Secretariat. Governor of Nagaland will inaugurate the programme. A circular from Commissioner & Secretary, NLA has requested all the members to attend the programme positively. The NLA Speaker has also requested all the AHODs and HODs to attend the programme, it added. Committee on government assistance meeting MLA Chotisuh Sazo and chairman of Committee on Government Assurances (2018-2019) has convened the first introductory meeting and adoption of the 92nd main report of the Committee on Government Assurances (2018-2019) on May 18 at 11:30 am in the Committee Room of Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat. All the members of the Committee on Government Assurances have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
