Entrance exam for MBBS, BDS courses Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed that it will conduct Nagaland State Entrance Examination (NSEE)-II, 2016 for selection of candidates to fill up State reserved seats in MBBS and BDS courses for the session 2016. The tentative date of examination is July 2, 2016. The Centre of Examination will be Kohima Town and the questions will be set from the existing NBSE syllabus of Classes XI & XII (Common Core Syllabus). All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with a total of 180 questions and there will be one paper consisting of 90 questions from biology, 45 questions from Physics and 45 questions from Chemistry. The board in a notification also mentioned that admit cards will be issued from the office of the NBSE on payment of examination fee and other details will be notified at a later date.     Evidence meeting deferred The evidence meeting between the Committee on Public Undertakings of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly and the departmental representatives of NSMDC and NHL has been deferred, according to a press release issued by K. Sekhose, Additional Secretary, Assembly Secretariat. The meeting was scheduled to be held on June 15, but has been deferred to June 24 due to unavoidable circumstances. The rescheduled meeting will be held 11:00 am onwards in the committee room of the Assembly Secretariat. The members of the committee, all the respective Administrative heads, and the head of corporations have been requested to attend the meeting.     City Bus owners There will be a general meeting of all the City Bus owners in Kohima at Hotel Ura (near Red Cross building) on June 15 at 9:30 am to discuss the phasing out of 15 years old City Bus and other matter related to City Bus, informed a press release from Hupasayi Tetseo, General Secretary, CBOUK and Ravolelie Rutsa, President CBOUWK. Therefore, all the City Bus owners have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.  

  Anti rabies vaccination camp The Chief Veterinary & Animal Husbandry office, Kohima district has informed that a free anti rabies vaccination camp will be held from June 15 to 16 at the Veterinary Hospital Kohima from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. A nominal fee of Rs. 50 will be charged from the owner for vaccination certificate/card.
