KSUK Fresher’s Meet cum General Session The Konyak Students’ Union Kohima (KSUK) is organising its 33rd Fresher's Meet cum General Session 2016 on July 23, 10:00 am at State Academy Hall, Kohima. Therefore, all the Konyak students in Kohima have been requested to be a part of the programme. NSF emergency meeting The office of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has informed all the federating units, subordinate bodies, and seniors that an emergency meeting has been convened on July 25, 11:00 am at NSF conference hall. The agenda will be the threat and legal notice served to President of Pochury Students’ Union by the Assam Rifles for organizing the candlelight service in memory of the July 16, 2015 Wuzu killing on July 16, 2016 at Old MLA junction, Kohima. The NSF in a release issued by its General Secretary, Boveio Poukai Duo has invited the Naga Hoho, Naga Mothers’ Association, NPMHR and other frontal organisations to be a part of the meeting as “the threat is a concern of security for all the civil organisation leaders and individuals.” Meeting on Majithia Wage Board A meeting has been convened to discuss the recommendations of the Majithia Wage Board and its implementation in Nagaland on July 29, 12:00 noon in the office chamber of the Secretary, Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR). T Ao, Secretary, DIPR in a press release has informed all to attend the meeting positively. SDEO Longleng informs Sub-Divisional Education Officer (SDEO), Longleng has informed all Graduate Teachers and SSA Graduate Teachers (regular) under her establishment appointed upto 2013 to produce the following details in the format given: 1. Name of teacher, 2. Date of birth, 3. Date of graduation, 4. Date of B.ED pass, 5. Education qualification, 6. Date of appointment, 7. Date of counting seniority. The last date of submission is on or before July 27 to the SDEO, Longleng. Meanwhile, the SDEO, Temsusenla Jamir also notified all Govt. Primary School/ Govt. Middle Schools to obtain Aadhaar number of their students from class 1 to 8. The Head In-charges/ Head Teachers have been directed to engage in the exercise in a time bound manner as under: Compilation of biometrics for Aadhaar of students by July 31; Generation of Aadhaar number by August 15; Sending of Aadhaar with bank account by August 31. In the event of failure to comply with this notification, the schools’ August salary will be withheld without prior notification, the SDEO cautioned in a press release.
