Winners and dignitaries of the Melomania inter school solo competition.
DIMAPUR, JANUARY 14 (MExN): Melomania, an inter-school solo competition was held at Hope Academy Campus on January 14 where Sashiwapang Lanu, IRS, Additional Commissioner Central GST Dimapur was the Guest of Honor.
Melomania is a platform started in the year 2019 by Hope Academy, provided to highlight the young talents across Dimapur schools, where Bands from different schools were given the arena every year to participate in the competition.
Since the Pandemic and maintenance of COVID SOP, the competition was held as only an inter-school solo Competition where 10 schools participated and 7 schools were shortlisted as finalists.
The winner of the solo competition was announced as Weritu U Lohe of Maple Tree with cash prize of Rs. 25000; first runners up Kimberly of Hope Academy (cash prize Rs 15000); and the second runners up award was bagged by Lisa A Yepthomi of Hope Academy (cash prize Rs 10000). Highest view award was bagged by Lisa A yepthomi with 8700 views (cash prize Rs. 5000).
