Dimapur, August 7 (MExN): Making a quick response to the complaint made by Naga Council Dimapur regarding the quality of construction of footpaths in Dimapur, Minister for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Metsubo Jamir inspected the ongoing works in Dimapur.
According to a press release forwarded by the Minister’s PS, after his inspection, the Minister instructed the department officials to inform the contractor to follow the design specification of the work. He further instructed the department officials to oversee and to do timely inspection on the work to maintain the quality of workmanship.
While appreciating the Naga Council Dimapur for ensuring good quality works, the minister also directed the department officers for quality and timely execution of work so that the citizens can benefit through the developmental works initiated by his department. He also directed the department officials to clean up the area after work is completed.
