KBCK silver jubilee from today
Kohima, April 15 (MExN): The Khiamniungan Baptist Church Kohima is all set to celebrate its silver jubilee from April 16 to 17 under the theme “ Give Praises unto Him.” The main speakers for the celebration include; Rs. Dr. Anjo Keikung, general secretary NBCC, Rev. B. Pinglang, executive secretary Khiamniungan Baptist Churches Association, Rev. N. Pomo, evangelist, Nagaland Mission Movement and Rev. B. Chillia, pastor Longdon Town Baptist Church.
ANPETA informs
Dimapur, April 15 (MExN): The All Nagaland Physical Education Teachers’ Association (ANPETA) has informed its district units to collect the membership fee of Rs 500 for the year 2011-14 and submit it to ANEPA treasurer before June 30. Defaulters as per the association’s resolution will be “exempted from seniority list”, informed a press note issued by its secretary for publicity and information.
Training for the Kridashree
Dimapur, April 15 (MExN): All the Kridashree selected under priya yuva krida aur khel abhiyan for the session 2009-10 of both the village and block panchayat are informed that the training for the Kridashree will be held at District Level Sports Complex, Dimapur from April 25 to May 1. Also, all village council and GBs of the selected villages are requested to inform the same to the Kridashree to attend the same without fail. The respective District Sports Officer can be contacted for further detail. This was informed in a press release issued by DSO Dimapur, Nizheto Awomi.

Kohima, April 15 (MExN): The Excise and Prohibition department while on duty, on April 12 has arrested three persons, namely Kedu- son of Chelu, Azai- daughter of Knangzeting and Alo Chakesang- son of Akhwelo Chakesang with IMFL (750 ml) 288 bottles and IMFL (650 ml) under their possession at Kohima check gate. The duty party was headed by AKUM, A.I.E along with Videho, H/C an constables Manyang Khruvotso, Vitsathrong, Nyanvang Kiyevi, Lhoukoulie, Phoukhrietuo, Lichumthung and Yimto.
