
Kohima, April 18 (MExN): Six Students (Science stream) from Model Higher Secondary School represented Nagaland at the Motivational Programme for North East from April 7 to 12 organised by CSIR- North East Institute of Science and Technology, Jorhat, Assam.
Various selected schools from North East took part in the six-day programme that included seminars, presentations and projects by the students. Students got great exposure interacting with scientists and other counselors, according to a press release received here.
Prof. P.K. Sarwah, winner of Norman Borlong Award 2016, encouraged the students to take up further career in scientific field as there is scope to be technology inventors. MHSS students who attended the programme said it gave them great exposure, especially finding out more attractive avenues apart from the clichéd Engineering and Medical that students normally undertake, the release added.
