Kohima, August 27 (MExN): A Mid Day Meal Mela- 2019 will take place on August 30 at Peren Town Local Ground from 10:00 AM onwards.
Nagaland’s water resources advisor Namri Nchang will grace the occasion as the special guest.
Menukhol John, principal secretary, department of school education & SCERT will also address the function.
The function will be chaired by Shanavas C, principal director school education while welcome address will be delivered by Sentiwapang Aier, deputy commissioner Peren.
The function will be followed by opening of Mid Day Meal Mela- cum- exhibition of school kitchen garden products.
Chief Medical Officer, Peren, State Project Officer, Food Safety of Health & Family Welfare, Nagaland, State Project Officer, National Iodine Deficiency Disorder Control Programme (NIDDCP-NHM), District Agriculture Officer Peren, District Horticulture Officer Peren and Sub Divisional Officer, PHE, Peren have been invited to the mela.
The programme is being organised by MDM Project, Directorate of School Education, Nagaland, Kohima.
