Kohima, July 19 (MExN): Minister for Planning & Co-ordination and Land Revenue Neiba Kronu held a consultative meeting with all the Heads of Departments, Ward chairman, GBs and prominent leaders of Pfutsero area on July 19 in the Conference Hall of the ADC Pfutsero.
The meeting was chaired by the ADC Pfutsero and various divisional heads of departments highlighted their activities as well as the problems faced by them during the course of discharging their duties.
Kelhikha Kenye, Vice Principal GHSS Pfutsero and Convenor of the organizing committee for Nagaland Badminton meet 2018 which is to be held at Pfutsero from August 6 to 11 under the aegis of Phek District Badminton Association emphasized the need for the co-operation of all to make it a grand success.
Kronu while assuring all help from his side also admitted the failure of last Government due to political crisis.
However, he reassured the people that the new government is dead earnest to fulfill the aspirations of the public so as to bring development and prosperity to them. He also appraised the gathering about the various developmental activities being envisaged by the present Government.
He said that a proposal for setting up of mini secretariat at Pfutsero for better governance and also serve as a pilot project is already in its final stages. He also informed that the establishment of a fire station and sub jail is also in the pipeline. He further emphasized the establishment of petrol pump, nationalized banks security police check gates etc. to ease the woes of the public. A proposal for Pfutsero ring road to ease the traffic congestion is already on the verge of implementation. He also exhorted the gathering to set an example of hospitality and friendliness to the outsiders and participants during the forthcoming Nagaland Inter District Badminton Tournament 2018.
The minister urged the administration and the public to come together to maintain peace and tranquility in the area.
