DIMAPUR, APRIL 9 (MExN): Dimapur police on April 8 rescued a thirteen year-old girl, who was abducted by a man from Tinsukia, Assam about three weeks back. Acting on information provided by Tinsukia police, the whereabouts of the man was tracked down to Chumukedima and the girl was rescued. The abductor, a construction worker by profession, however managed to escape. He has been identified as one Abdul Kalam Choudhury, originally hailing from Nagaon. The girl was handed over to Tinsukia police, Dimapur police said.
