Mokokchung | 18 November Morung Express News Mokokchung Urban Shows and Episodes (MUSE), the organizer of the ‘Miss Mokokchung 2018,’ has promised to organize this year edition in a way “none has ever organized it before.”
Under the theme ‘Beyond Beauty,’ the beauty pageant will be held on November 20 at Multi-purpose complex, Mokokchung. Gates will open at 5:30 pm and the show will start at 6:00 pm. Tickets will be available at the venue.
Not just an epitome of beauty but Miss Mokokchung 2018 will select a “woman with intellect and wit,” the organizer said. MUSE is a group of like minded people who has come together to promote local talents and to revive the status of pageantry in Mokokchung Town.
“Mokokchung is considered as the pioneers in many fields and it is no different in the field of Pageantry. However, for the last few years, there has been very less progress and hence we have come together to bring back home the crowns and the laurels” said Imlibenla Wati, a core member of MUSE.
Eleven women will be vying for the coveted title of Miss Mokokchung 2018. This year’s edition of Miss Mokokchung will witness professionals from different fields grooming the contestants.
Adang Jamir will be the official choreographer, while the very renown Johnny D’ Ascoli will be the official Make-up artist and Amini N Ngullie will be the official designer of the show.
The winner will walk away with a cash prize of Rs1 lakh while the first and second runner up will be awarded fifty and twenty five thousand rupees each along with gift hampers worth Rs 1 lakh. The contestants will also be competing for 8 subtitles.
C.L. John, MLA, Government of Nagaland will be the chief patron and dignitaries like Banuo Z. Jamir and Hekani Jakhalu will be present during the show.
The organizers also informed that the judges for the show will be professionals in the beauty industry and also beyond.
