MISS NAGALAND: Fourteen girls selected in preliminary audition

Fourteen girls were selected in the preliminary audition for Miss Nagaland organized by the Beauty Aesthetics & Society of Nagaland (BASN) on September 6 held at Hotel Ura, Officers Hill Kohima.   Singer and actor, Mengu Suokhrie was a guest judge along with the members of the BASN in the preliminary audition.   Altogether twenty two girls along with the selected girls during the campus auditions registered for the audition from various colleges.   The fourteen girls were selected after a series of screening to go through the final audition schedule to be held in the month of November.   The contestants went through two rounds of introduction and questionnaire and were judged on the basis of their introduction, walk, poise and intelligence quotient (IQ).   The selected girls will take part in the final audition along with other participants from the districts of the State.   It may be mentioned that the district reigning queens will have a direct entry into the Miss Nagaland contest, and the runners up will have to undergo the final audition along with the others.   The selected contestants will be given intensive training to enhance their personality, diction, etiquettes, public speaking, ramp walk etc.
