Kiphire, May 3 (MExN): To review the performance of first round of Mission Indradhanush Phase-3 held in April and to discuss activities to be carried out in the second round, District Task Force meeting was held at ADC's office in Kiphire on May 3.
Dr. Rebecca Y Sema (DPO RCH-UIP) informed that the second round of Indradhanush Phase-3 will be conducted from May 7-13 covering 22 session sites in the district which are hard to reach areas, places where there are no health centres, and areas where migratory population is present. The target beneficiaries of Mission Indradhanush are 0-2 years, 5 years and pregnant mothers, according to a press release from District Media Officer, CMO office, Kiphire.
Stating that the first round performance met the target, Dr. Rebecca stressed on the need to achieve 100% immunization coverage for all the remaining rounds.
Dr. Tinojungshi Chang, ADC Kiphire, lauded the health workers for the work done in the last round and for tirelessly serving the community. He further encouraged the health workers to reach the target and appealed to the community to aid the department to achieve maximum coverage.
