Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): 'Mission plant 1000 trees in all over India', a mission initiated by a team of youngsters from Kerala, Yazin Malappuram and Shablan Malappuram along with Ajesh Kollam, Mukesh Palakkad, Shakir Malappuram, along with Pathmakar Nasik reached Dimapur on February 17.
The team visited MGOS Church, MGM College and MGMHSS on February 20 and 21. Along with St Thomas Mission Society the team planted tree saplings at MGMHSS and MGM College.
While welcoming the team, the Principal emphasized the importance of planting more trees for the protection of environment. "It is our duty to take care of the nature," he said while giving the slogan ‘plant a tree for tomorrow’. He expressed hope that the team would fulfill their mission at the earliest. The team will reportedly be visiting nearby North Eastern states in the coming days.
