The budget session of the fifth sitting of the 8th Mizoram Legislative Assembly will begin on Monday at 10:30 am, assembly secretariat sources said.
Governor PS Shreedharan will give his maiden speech. The session will conclude on March 14.
Assembly under secretary, Lalthangmawia said that at least 433 starred questions and 240 unstarred questions have been submitted for discussion during the session.
He said that chief minister Zoramthanga, who also holds Finance portfolio, will present annual budget on February 19.
Besides, four government bills, 57 private resolutions and one official resolution have been submitted to be tabled at the house, he further said.
