•- This press statement is intended for better Public consumption in regard to my resignation position. With clear conscience as desired by Naga people, I had tender my membership resignation from the Manipur Legislative Assembly on May 6, 2010 addressed to the Hon’ble Speaker.
And that, on 27 July, 2010 a reminder was sent asking to give verdict on my resignation position addressed to the Hon’ble Speaker, Manipur Legislative Assembly. Further, my position in this regard has been made known public through different sources. However, till date, Hon’ble Speaker has not issued any bulletin in this regard, for reason best known to the Suppressive Manipur Govt.led by dictator O.Ibobi Singh.
Now, to demonstrate my standing decision of resignation I am not attending the Manipur Assembly Session being scheduled on December 20, 2011. And with commitment, I shall always uphold and safeguard the aspiration and interest of the Nagas in whatever form it may be and shall always place Naga issue above me.
