Mon, May 11 (MExN): The Mon Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) has informed all business establishments in Mon headquarter that a general meeting on May 14 at Council Hall Mon HQ, from 10:00 am. All business establishments including from Tizit, Naginimora, Aboi and Tobu Town are requested to attend the meeting.
MCCI, while informing the business establishments not to pay any illegal taxes/donation, has directed to report immediately to the office if any person forces for donation and demand or taxes.
MCCI General Secretary & Administration Unok SN also directed in a press release that the entire shop owner should not allow to selling liquor or opium. If they are found, action will be taken seriously, it added. The rice has to be weighed by the shop keeper before the customer and if anybody is found selling expired goods, BPL, AAY, APL, MDM and Anna Purna rice in the market, action will be taken by MCCI.
Meanwhile, MCCI has also informed the Additional District Supply Officer, Block SK, VDBs and fair price shops in Mon District that “supply rice” are not to be entertained in the market. “If supply rice is found in the market from your account, action will be taken as per the law,” the MCCI added.
