Mopong Primary Health Centre inaugurated

Mon, November 22 (MExN): The much needed Primary Health Centre at Mopong was inaugurated by Dr Kevichusa Medikhru, Mission Director NHM Nagaland on November 22. 

Dr Medikhru during the occasion assured that a doctor would be appointed and “by December 2019 the PHC should run smoothly without any hindrance.” He also pointed out the need of an ambulance at the PHC and assured to be realized at the earliest.

It was informed here in a press release that the renovation of the dilapidated building began under the initiative of Mopong Hongkong Students Union during the early part of 2019. 

“Concerned individuals and groups contributed help in cash and kind towards the renovation. In due course of time, villages came forth and civil societies also got involved towards the initiative,” the release added.  Eleutheros Christian Society, Tuensang under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Chingmak Chang also assisted in “every possible ways.”
