More condemn attack on Naga family

Dimapur, September 24 (MExN): More organisations have condemned the assault on a Naga family in Chumukedima on September 21.  

The Angami Youth Organisation in a statement termed the assault a “despicable act” and informed that steps shall be initiated to “rightfully address” the matter. The AYO further extended its wishes for a speedy recovery to the victims.  

The Ao Senso Telongjem Dimapur stated that it shared the pain of the family and argued that the assault on the son of the soil by illegal immigrants is “beyond imagination.”  

In this regard, the ASTD called on the state government to safeguard its citizens and also take necessary steps to safeguard the future generations. “If the popular government is not serious in tackling this kind of serious issue, the general public will not tolerate and eventually it will invite tsunami-like situation for which the government of the day will hang their head in shame,” the ASTD maintained.
