Dimapur, September 16 (MExN): Following the demands made by the NSF and ENSF to absorb the 2010 and 2013 batches of SSA and RMSA teachers into the mainstream school education cadre, more organisations have issued statements asking the state government to fulfill its ‘promises.’
In this regard, the Zeliangrong Students' Union, Nagaland (ZSUN) issued a statement on Wednesday, saying even after two years after the agreement was signed between the Government of Nagaland, Naga Students' Federation, Eastern Naga Students' Federation and the NSSATA (2010 &13) on June 12, 2018, “the state government have failed to address the matter till date.”
As such, the ZSUN appealed the state government to “fulfill the genuine demand of the aggrieved teachers without further delay.”
Meanwhile, the Phom Student’s Conference (PSC) reiterated the demands made by the ENSF and NSF, stating that state government cannot delay the matter any further.
Failure to fulfill the genuine demand of the teachers may result in ‘huge resentment’ from the student community at large, the PSC statement read.
