Mokokchung, June 23 (MExN): Understanding the need of the different patients, the elderly and the needy, the Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem (MTLT) in close collaboration with the Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation (DAYO) and Esa Telongjem, Chümoukedima freely couriered essential life-saving drugs to the patients in Mokokchung town, Tuli and Changtongya towns.
This initiative was necessitated as patients who are suffering from different illnesses requested the youths to reach out especially in times such as these because of the present nationwide lockdown.
This is the second time that the MTLT, DAYO and Esa Telongjem are reaching out to the patients with the essential medicines which is being undertaken as a part of the COVID-19 pandemic mitigation programme.
The Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation and Esa Telongjem from Dimapur were led by DAYO General Secretary S. Panger and Esa Telongjem, Chümoukedima representatives Er Moamanen Imchen and Asst Prof Supongtemsu.
