A book titled ‘Mungujemba Tesayur Ka, an unsung hero’ written by Rev Dr Mar Atsongchanger was released by Rev Dr Noklen, Pastor, Ungma Baptist Church at Whispering Winds Conference Hall, Mokokchung on March 17.
The book is a biography of Late Limasungba of Ungma Village who worked as a pastor in Alisopur and Ungma Village.
Rev Dr Noklen during the release of the book said that Late Limasungba was a personality par excellence whose footprints are in every field. He said that he was a multi-faceted pastor whose achievements many cannot achieve. Late Limasungba was the pioneer in the establishment of Ungma Senso Mungdang and Soyim Student's union and he was the first president of SST. He was also the man behind the formation of Ungma Laishir Telongjem, he added.
Mongkum Jamir, MD, Symbios Creations (P) Ltd, the eldest son of Late Limasungba and the sponsor of the book also spoke during the release of his father's biography.
Amenla Mar, Merentuba Longkumer, Ex-Pastor, Ungma and Muthingnyuba Sangtam also shared their experiences with the late pastor at the release.
Rev Dr Mar Atsongchanger, the writer of the book, thanked every person behind the success of the book. He said that there is so much more to write about Late Limasungba and he expressed that through his contributions and through the book many will be inspired and blessed.
The book is published by TDCC Printing and Publishing House, Mokokchung.
