Murti Films Pvt Ltd ventures into Hindi feature film

Morung Express News   Murti Films Private Limited of Dimapur is for the first time venturing into making a Hindi feature film and thereby making an official entry to Bollywood.   Talking about the film, which has been titled ‘Run’, actor and producer Munna Yadav today told the media persons that it has been the objective of the production house to help the local talents through its small platform and through this film also Murti Films is promoting local talents.   He said people now have better opportunities to get the spotlight due to emergence of many reality shows, daily soaps etc. unlike the earlier times and they should take these opportunities.   Shiv Kumar BK, the director and writer of the movie on the occasion said that the locally made films suffer from the limitations of resources and necessary equipments and not from the lack of talents and added that creativity can take a person anywhere sighting the examples of Assamese film industry and Satyajit Rai who made it big despite of limited resources.   He also happens to play the role of a police officer in the movie. The shooting of the film, which is set to release on February 2017, will commence from October 16.   Shiv revealed that the movie will be a suspense/thriller and will tell the story of a group of youths who travels into woods for a digital detox and happens to come across some events that confuse them whether some evil spirits are on lease or there is a criminal mind at work.   A press release issued by the organisers informed that Kartik Kumar and Madhu will play the leads in the movie, which has a cast of a total 22 persons. Raj Ghosh, a first-time musician from Dimapur will playback in the movie.
