‘Music and art can help youth in career’

Dimapur, April 6 (MExN): While addressing the crash course participants of Peace Channel Institute of Music, Art and Culture, Rev Fr. CP Anto, the director of the institute said that music and art can help our youth to excel in their career. 

“Last one year we have been noticing that music along with the regular music course, life skill training has helped the participants to develop their skills, creativity, commitment and confidence,” said Fr. Anto. 

A press note issued by Peace Channel desk stated that the one month crash course is organized to provide a learning platform for talented youth from poor and less privileged background. They are trained in drum, guitar, keyboard, violin and vocal. 

The institute also provide along with music training the participants are molded on leadership, public speaking, confidence  and personality development programmes. The inaugural function ended with a session where the aspiring musicians interacted with the trainers and were briefed about the courses’ contents. The course will be on till the end of April. Neli invoked God’s blessing, Zephrey presented the activities of Peace Channel, Micheal introduced the crash course and its objectives and Robert did the benediction. There are 52 youth for the crash course and 45 youth for the regular course respectively.
