The Musicians Fellowship took place at Samyan Baptist Church, Vungoju Colony, Wokha, as part of the TaFMA Open House initiative. This event was organised in collaboration with the SBE Youth Department and BSM Wokha, providing a platform for local artists in the town to showcase their talents and express their faith.
Mhademo Ennio, TaFMA’s partner in Wokha, emphasised the pivotal role of early churches in shaping music and the arts, extending heartfelt thanks to the local churches for their contributions.
Eyingbemo Ngullie, Youth Director of Samyan Baptist Church, inspired attendees with a Gospel message, encouraging them in their artistic endeavours.
The event featured an Open House, showcasing an impressive range of talent across three engaging sessions.
Open House session-a kicked off with Zarenbeni Humtsoe’s uplifting performance of “My Jesus,” followed by a drum solo from Nzanrhoni Kikon. Lirenthung Humtsoe captivated the audience with a guitar piece while Noyingbeni Ngullie delivered a rendition of “He Will Keep You.”
Open House session-B continued the momentum with another drum solo by Khyochano, also known as Drummer After20. Lijanbeni Lotha showcased her guitar skills, before Zarenbeni Humtsoe returned to perform “Oh Lord.”
In Open House session-c, Nzanrhoni Kikon made a second appearance with another drum solo, followed by a delightful guitar performance by Mhao Ezung. Noyingbeni Ngullie returned to the stage with “No Matter What,” before Murrithung Murry mesmerised the audience with his drum solo.
The evening concluded with a medley of “Hallelujah” and “One Kiss from Heaven,” performed by Khonzani Ovung.
Earlier in the event, David Ngullie offered the invocation, leading into a vibrant Praise and Worship session facilitated by “Bridge the Gap.” The offertory was presented by Shanjothung Ezung, and the event concluded with a mass prayer and blessing led by Mhonyamo Yanthan.
