Musicians Guild Nagaland’s virtual relief concert raises Rs 2,06,544

As part of World Music Day, Musicians Guild Nagaland hosted a virtual relief concert on June 21 last.

A total of Rs 2, 06, 544 have been raised through this Virtual concert, according to Mele Pucho, president, Musicians Guild.

All proceeds from this event would go towards providing relief and support COVID 19 patients from financially poor families who are struggling to fight against this pandemic, Musicians Guild stated.

In this one hour twenty minutes virtual show, it fetched an audience of 6.5k. Artists who performed at the virtual concert includes Trance Effect, Tune Up Channel, Rap Cypher, Elysian, KL Pamei, Abdon Mech, Imliakum, About Us, The Wishess, Papersky, Megh, Version 2, Seysei and Arenlong Longkumer.

Musicians Guild (MG) Music Awards 2021 was also presented on the same day to encourage and support the musicians during this difficult time of COVID-19 pandemic.

MG Music Awards were presented by Tetseo Sisters, Hovithal Sothu, Nise Meruno, Dreams Unlimited, Alobo Naga, Zuchobeni, Mele Pucho, Virie and Bambi Kevichusa.

Mentionably, the World Music Day concert is initiated by Symphony Academy of Music in collaboration with San Production, Indihut, Out loud Inc, Shiu Lights and Highland Dawn Media. It is presented by Musicians Guild Nagaland and supported by Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) and Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority.
