Dimapur, October 1 (MExN): The Nagaland Airport Contractors' Union has mourned the demise of its president, Khetovi Kinny who passed away on September 29 last.
“Late Khetovi led the formation airport contractors union in 2003 and was instrumental in shifting of Dimapur Airport tender office to Dimapur from Dibrugarh in Assam,” the NACU stated in a press release on Friday.
Stating that late Khetovi was not only a father figure to airport contractors of Nagaland but also was involved in other mass based organisations and contributed towards the upliftment of society, the union stated that his demise was a great loss to Naga people.
The union conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
