Nagaland House Delhi is organising Naga Food Festival in Madhya Pradesh Bhawan and Manipur Bhawan on August 26 and 27. This is part of the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat initiative under which different Bhawans are hosting cuisines of other Bhawans. Last week on August 19, the cuisine of Madhya Pradesh was served in Nagaland House Delhi and residents and other guests got the flavour of Madhya Pradesh cuisine. On September 4, the cuisine of Manipur will be served in Nagaland House Delhi. As per response received on the Facebook page of Nagaland House Delhi, there is a buzz in Delhi about the Naga Food Festival events in Madhya Pradesh Bhawan and Manipur Bhawan on August 26 and 27. Many are expected to come and relish the authentic, organic and exotic dishes being specially created for this occasion. The exotic buffet menu has been reasonably priced at Rs 500/- only per person. Nagaland House Delhi is thankful to Horticulture Department, Government of Nagaland for ensuring that organic and fresh fruits and vegetables are made available for the occasion. “This initiative is one of its kind attempt to expose residents of Delhi to the cuisine of Nagaland. In future, we will be organizing many more events that would include Food Festivals along with music and culture of the State,” said Abhishek Singh, Resident Commissioner, Nagaland House, Delhi. All are invited to enjoy the special cuisine.
